Acceptable Use Policy
We may revise this document with notice. Revisions are published on this page, and every substantive revision gets a new version number and effective date.
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses Stoily: store owners and their teams under the Terms of Service, sellers under the Stoily Account Terms, and anyone acting through their accounts. It covers your store, your listings, the content you upload and the way you use the Services. It is published by StoreOnCloud LLC ("Stoily", "we").
1. Prohibited content and products
You may not use Stoily to sell, offer, publish or store:
- goods or services that are illegal where they are offered, sold or delivered;
- counterfeit goods, or content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights;
- child sexual abuse material, or any content that sexualizes minors;
- content that threatens or incites violence, or promotes terrorism;
- malware, phishing pages, or content designed to deceive people into giving up credentials or payment details;
- listings that are fraudulent or materially misleading about the product, its price, its origin or who is selling it.
2. Prohibited conduct
- Attempting to access another customer's store, data or account, or any part of the Services you were not given access to.
- Interfering with or disrupting the Services, including denial-of-service attacks and deliberately excessive load.
- Circumventing access controls, authentication, plan entitlements or billing.
- Sending spam or unsolicited bulk email through the Services.
- Using the Services for cryptocurrency mining, or for general-purpose file distribution unrelated to your store.
- Reselling or sublicensing access to the Services without our written permission.
- Using a store or seller account to launder money, evade sanctions, or process payments for someone else's business.
3. Security testing
Do not scan, probe or test the security of the Services, or of any store that is not yours, without our written permission. If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, report it to contact@stoily.com with enough detail for us to reproduce it, do not access or change data that is not yours, and give us a reasonable time to fix it before you disclose it.
4. Reporting abuse
To report a store, listing or account that breaks this policy, write to contact@stoily.com with the address of the page and what you believe is wrong.
5. Enforcement
If we believe this policy has been broken, we may remove or disable the content, suspend or restrict the store, listing or account involved, end the account, and report the activity to law enforcement or other authorities where the law requires or allows it. Where we can, we tell the account holder first and give them a chance to fix the problem. Where the activity puts other customers, the Services or the public at risk, we may act first and explain afterwards.
A marketplace Operator is responsible for its sellers' listings on its store, and may also enforce this policy against its own sellers.
6. Changes
Each published version of this policy has a version number and an effective date, shown at the top of this page. When we publish a new version, we will ask you to accept it the next time you sign in.
