Ring up sales on a tablet at pos.yourdomain. In-store sales use the same catalog, stock count and order list as your website.

Included on Business and Enterprise. Runs in the tablet's web browser.

  1. 1The register runs in a browser at pos.yourdomain.
  2. 2One catalog, one stock count, one order list.
  3. 3Your online store sells from the same stock.
Where it sells

Sell at a counter, a stall or a pop-up

Every sale comes out of the stock your website sells from.

  • A record shop with one counter

Ring up a sale in the shop, and the stock count on your website goes down with it.

  • A sneaker brand at a weekend market

Take a tablet to the stall. Scan barcodes with the camera and take cards with a reader.

  • A bakery with online pre-orders

Customers order on your website and collect at the counter. Staff hand each order over from the pickup queue.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

A point of sale (POS) system is the register you use to sell in person. It records the sale, takes the payment and updates your stock. Stoily's POS runs in a web browser on a tablet.

No. Stoily's point of sale is part of your store. In-store sales and online orders share one catalog, one stock count and one order list, so there is nothing to sync between two systems.

Point of sale is included on Business and Enterprise.

Partly. If the connection drops, the register keeps a read-only copy of your catalog and queues finished sales, which sync when you reconnect. Discounted sales, points redemptions and ship-to-customer sales still need a connection.
